The First 9

Broke the seal today. Max played his first official 9 holes at the ultra-exclusive Pruneridge Golf Club. Ahem... Anyway, all 10 fingers and toes are intact and he finished with a smile so we'll chalk that up to a successful afternoon.

In all seriousness, it is so much fun to watch him progress. His swing has gone from a hockey-style slap at the ball to something that resembles a fairly fluid pass at it. He's connecting with the ball on a predictable basis and he did a fantastic job today. He kept pace, didn't completely check out mentally and learned a lot about etiquette. I was overly surprised at how receptive he was and would unquestionably take him back. He's ready.
