Recently, Khan and his kids Kai and Sora were over for dinner and to play. Max and Kai are in Max's room, playing with cars. I overhear Max tell Kai that they should take their cars and drive to Starbucks. You know you visit Starbucks coffee often when your 3-year old pretends to go there with his toy cars!

One more week...
One week from today, I am going back to work. Amazing how quickly these weeks went by. I am going to miss my baby so much! Thank goodness that mom arrives on Saturday. Knowing that Finn is at home with her will help me with the transition of going back somewhat. Now, if the little guy would just sleep some more at night.. We were so happy when Finn slept 5-7 hours in a row at night a couple of nights a week or so ago. We thought things were about to change for the better! Well, it has not happened since.. bummer!

Finn - two month checkup
I took Finn to see Dr. Nancy yesterday for his two month checkup. Our little guy weighs 11 pounds, 6 ounces (5.27 kilos) and is 23.75 inches long (60.3 centimeters). He received his shots, which was less than fun. Finn is doing much better with his stomach issues or whatever it may be that bothers him. They still exist, but life seems a little easier. I wish he would sleep well consistently but some nights are great, others not. We will get there. Maybe things will have improved greatly in a week or two. Crossing my fingers...

Sleep, wonderful sleep!
Finn has decided to sleep more at night. I think this is really, really a good thing and appreciate it very much. I am talking five or six hours in a row. Unreal. I feel alive again. I can manage. I can get through this. Yay!

Cannatelli wedding
Scott and Amanda tied the knot last Saturday. The big event took place at the Drumkeeran House in Pemberton, British Columbia in Canada. Pemberton is located near Whistler, north of Vancouver. Our Max was the ring bearer and his cousins Ava, Maya and Lexi were all flower girls. Amanda looked beautiful, the weather was perfect and the setting unreal. Congratulations again to Scott and Amanda!
