father's day

max and finn were so very proud so show off their cards and drawings to dad on father's day.  brent got his own ipod for when he goes to the gym or does yard work.  hopefully now he will leave mine alone!

on father's day morning, brent enjoyed some golfing with friends and I took the boys to happy hollow park and zoo.  they petted the goats, rode several rides, watched the puppet theatre and watched the animals.  so much fun!

max turns 7!

max finally turned 7 on june 13th.  it was the first day off from school and he had a full day of fun ahead of him.  we picked up his buddies; luke, charles and leo and headed to the bowling alley.  the boys had a fun time bowling and eating pizza.  after that, we went for ice-cream and lastly to the park for some running, playing, swinging and opening of presents.  max had a fun day with his friends.  in the evening, todd and shauna joined us for dinner and cake.  max got to open his presents.  he was very happy about all his new legos and of course the wii and his own ipod!

 

 

last day of school

june 12th was max's last day of school and his last day as a 1st grader! we went to the beach together with several other families.  fun times and a beautiful day in santa cruz!

 

jack the beanstalk

max's class performed "jack and the beanstalk" to all the 1st grad parents on june 11th.  it was a very cute play and they all did such a great job!  max was part of the beanstalk - see the green shirt with greenery?  cute huh? 

 

 

hakone gardens

 

 

we took the boys to hakone gardens again recently to feed the koi fish and turtles.  they had a fun time and the fish and turtles were anxious to get fed!  fun times.

baseball season is over...  the closing ceremony was on saturday, may 31st and the next day our giants had their last game followed by pizza and cake party at round table pizza.  we had a great season!  the kids learned a lot and had tons of fun.  until next year...
