Finn mastered crawling over the Easter weekend. He is standing, holding on to items and walking side to side. He seems to feel so ready to walk and so very frustrated that he can't.

Easter Sunday

On Easter Sunday, Max found that the Easter bunny stopped at our house to drop off gifts for him and Finn and lots of eggs were hidden all throughout the backyard. We went to the Uffelmans for brunch which was delicious. The kids played well. It was such a relaxing and easygoing day.

Easter egg hunt

The Saturday before Easter, we organized an Easter egg hunt for the kids at the Santa Clara University campus together with five other families. It was great! The guys went ahead and hid the eggs and at 10am, we all showed up and the kids went hunting. Afterwards, we just hung out and had a picnic.

April 9th through 23rd

Max

Max came with me to pick up Finn from Colista's daycare both Tuesday and Wednesday this week. On Tuesday, he saw some girls jump on a trampoline in Colista's backyard. He was very interested to check it out so we did. He tried it and was hooked! Yesterday morning, as soon as he woke up, he informed me that I needed to pick him up after school before picking up Finn so he could come with to pick up his brother. Maybe he could also jump on that thing again that he tried?.. All went as per his plans yesterday and he got to jump on the trampoline yet again. I could barely get him home.. I guess now he wants a trampoline for his birthday. In addition to the 5 jumphouses he told me he wants. Yes, 5. Not 2 or 4, but 5.

Finn

As of last week, Finn is officially pulling himself up to a standing position...it is too soon! I think. Last night, he decided to do it over and over again in his crib. Thankfully, Brent lowered the mattress down a couple of weeks ago.

A week ago tomorrow, we finally took Finn to the photographer. He was such a ham! He loved being photographed and smiled and giggled and moved all around. Adorable. Can't wait to see how they turned out.
