Trip to Blondie's

We have such great friends and neighbors. Tonight we went to Blondie's for ice-cream together with Kristen & Cooper, The Uffelmans and The Fucillos. Max and Luke rode their tricycles. So adorable. Max is getting the hang of it, finally while Luke is riding like there is no tomorrow!

Max made his first "own" waffle on Sunday morning! He stirred the batter and helped pour the mix onto the hot waffle iron and made sure to tell me how we had to be careful because the iron was hot. He was SO excited about making (and eating) his very own waffle. So cute.

Family Day

Wonderful day in Monterrey where we visited the Aquarium. The seahorse exhibit was quite cool. Max's favorite was seeing the sharks!

Sunday afternoon in San Francisco

We spent the afternoon in San Francisco today - because we can! We hung out at the Ferry Building for a while and walked around in North Beach, stopped at a playground for a while. The weather was fabulous! Brent made pulled pork sandwiches for dinner. The smoker sure as a great Father's Day gift!

Baptism

While in Sweden, Brent and I decided that Max would be baptized in St. Maria's Church, located in my hometown Ystad. The church is located by the main town square, just a few minutes from my Mom's house. It dates back to the 13th century and is quite amazing.

Max was baptized on Thursday, July 16th at 3:30pm by Magnus Persson. The ceremony was held at the main altar. Brent, Max and I were joined by my immediate family around the baptismal font. Max did well! He only splashed around a little. Following a small get-together hosted by Mom in her backyard, we all went to dinner at Ystad's Steak & Brewery.

Road trip

The day after returning from Paris, we rented a car and took a road trip. We stopped at Oland (one of Sweden's islands), therafter to Berga to see the siblings and lastly to Gothenburg where we visited Jutta & Ola and the kids. Ingrid and her girls were there too. It was great fun to catch up with everyone and for Brent to see some more of Sweden.
